This is a list of potential funding sources for getting a Trout in the Classroom program started in your school or to increase your program at your school.
Local Funding Opportunities
- School budget

- Local environmental organizations such as soil conservation districts, local Trout Unlimited chapters, etc.
NJ Specific Grants
- PSE&G - These grants are available for up to $3500 for programs that use an interdisciplinary approach to teaching about the environment. Applications are available from May - June. For information visit http://www.pseg.com/community/grants.jsp
Other Grant Opportunities
- Captain Planet Foundation - These grants for up to $2500 are available throughout the year to get hands-on, environmental programs into schools. For more information visit http://captainplanetfoundation.org/
- Future Fisherman Foundation (Physh Ed Grants) - These grants for up to $2500 are available to incorporate fishing and/or boating into a cross-curricular program within the school.
