Except for the chiller and tank, all the standard TIC equipment is listed in the table below. The brands listed are those that have been successful in classrooms. Comparable equipment should also work. Tanks are not generally shipped and must be purchased locally. We recommend a 55 gallon tank, but any size between 30 and 55 will work very well for the equipment on this list. Please keep in mind that we work the chillers far harder than in most situations in which chillers are used. Therefore, if you purchase a tank larger than 55 gallons, we recommend a 1/3 h.p. to 1/2 h.p. chiller (not to be confused with the standard 1/4 h.p. chillers listed below) which both adds to the cost and creates the need to vary some of the adapters. Contact your TIC coordinator or equipment vendor for the proper set up when using a tank larger than 55 gallons. Here is a list of current equipment:

Trout Feeding Guidelines
By Scott Covert, Debruce Hatchery
Trout food comes in three different sizes…smallest to largest, 0 to 2. Start feeding with the bag supplied when you received your eggs. The food is perishable, so keep the bags sealed and in a refrigerator, if possible. Refrigeration is not a necessity, however, if you keep it out of direct light. The initial food is very fine and only a small amount needs to be fed at one time.
How to attach Word, Excel, Acrobat pdf, or other files to your reports
Do you find it easier to prepare your student work for publication using Microsoft Office or other desktop productivity tools? Are you using resources that already exist as .pdf (Postscript Display Format) or image files? Rather than retype or import them into TIC Journal’s editorial system, perhaps you’d prefer to do what thousands of bloggers do every day. This article describes the step-by-step procedure to upload your existing files and incorporate them into a brief post using hyperlinks.

Wonder how other teachers include those neat photos, graphs, or other images in their reports? Read on for step-by-step instructions that will have you posting your own multimedia pages in no time.
