On Thursday, September 20th we will hold another TIC workshop for interested teachers, our fourth of the year. This workshop will be held at the NJ Fish & Wildlife’s Pequest Trout Hatchery right off rt 46 in Oxford (western), NJ. The workshop will be from 4pm - 6 pm and continuing education certificates will be handed out to all in attendance. This workshop covers the overall program and touches on curriculum, tank set-up and maintenance, water quality issues, how to best work TIC into your overall lesson plans, student involvement, and equipment. Several teachers already involved in TIC will be on hand to offer their insights, answer questions and testify to the many wonderful aspects of raising trout in the classroom atmosphere while teaching our children the importance of clean water.
