You might consider replacing the stockings over the intakes or, better yet, use fiberglass window screen material.  I have been warning our schools that these next few weeks will present water quality problems due to the number and size of the fish.  If you remain concerned, we can plan a partial release to reduce the biomass in your school's tank.  Hope that helps!  What are some others seeing in their tanks?
