Completed a ~20% water change…..Water had taken on a slight cloudy look and had an organic odor to it. Also, had accumulated a small amount of white foam on the surface of the water. The water "Spiked" ~ 2F but didnt seem to be a problem (In the future, any recommendations on this? I dont have the capability of pre-chilling the water). A majority of the eggs have hatched and are @ alevin stage. I do not believe that they are yet ready to be fed….Perhaps early next week.

I’ll check on the water issue and get back to you here. Maybe another teacher with more aquarium experience can provide some answers(??). As for the temp spiking a bit due to a water change, that is not a problem. The chillers usually get the temps back down quickly. As for feeding, please check the feeding guidelines available here on the site. It is very easy to overfeed!!! These fish will only need a small pinch once they’ve absorbed their sacks.
